Hi there! I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 16 years of experience in the mental health field, including 10 years as a nurse practitioner across community mental health, private practice, and inpatient settings. I provide care for a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and PTSD, while taking a holistic and individualized approach to treatment.
In addition to extensive experience with medication management, I consider the role of lifestyle, holistic supplements, genetic testing, and lab work when appropriate to better understand and address your unique needs. My goal is to provide compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental care while working collaboratively with you to develop a treatment approach that supports your emotional well-being and helps you move toward your personal goals.
Background & Credentials
I am a Board Certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), with 16 years of experience in mental health and 10 years as a Nurse Practitioner. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron’s Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program in 2016. Before that, I completed the Accelerated Nursing Program at Baldwin Wallace University, earning my BSN in 2013. My background in mental health began with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Akron in 2008.
